Forest Interactive has recently joined the latest GSMA Mobile 360 Series that took place at Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort in Thailand from 5th to 7th September. The GSMA Mobile 360 Series presented a conference platform cultivating regional engagement through topics that are impacting the mobile industry on both a localized and global scale.
Within this Mobile 360 Series session, GSMA focused on today’s rising issues of the ability to authenticate individual’s identity in an era where 5G, Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI) are part of life. Titled ‘Digital Societies’, the event convened governments and Mobile Operators together with the wider technology ecosystem where discussions on creating secure digital identities to power tomorrows connected communities were done.
The event boasted the who’s who of stakeholders across the industry’s top service providers, regulators and large enterprises together with influential speakers like Arthidtaya Sutatam, Deputy Permanent Secretary from Ministry of Digital Economy and Society Thailand, Chris Perera, Senior Director, International External Affairs – APAC from AT&T, and Praveen Rajan, Chief Data Officer from Digi Telecommunications among others.
Furthermore, the event was divided into a two-day of thought leadership conference, organized by GSMA with support from regional government ministries, and included keynote presentations, fireside chats, and comprehensive discussions. And the final day comprised of closed-door meetings as well as workshops.
As an Associate Member of the GSMA, we had Siwakorn Sri-U-Thai, our Marketing and Business Development Manager (Thailand) to join the event and represent Forest Interactive. According to him, “The three-day event provided an in-depth look into building a digital identity as the key element to prove one’s identity in the new digital transformation over various Telcos, Payment as well as Social network platforms.”
