Manila October 27, 2019—The recently concluded Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit (ESGS) 2019 went off with a huge success and Wallet Codes was right in the middle of all of it. The Wallet Codes booth at ESGS offered great on-site discounts for both Mobile Legends Diamonds and STEAM Credits. This allowed gamers to purchase gaming currency on-site and pay with cash.
The Wallet Codes booth also gave event attendees the opportunity to win amazing prizes including free Mobile Legends Diamonds. Players tested their skill at Chuck-A-Duck: a player simply had to shoot a ball through a hole and accumulate a certain number of points. Players who scored 60, 80, and 150 points all walked away with free Mobile Legends Diamonds.
Wallet Codes allows gamers from all over the world, no matter the age, to purchase their favorite gaming currency from stores like STEAM vouchers, Play Station Network vouchers, Xbox Live, and—most recently—Mobile Legends Diamonds. New users of Wallet Codes could sign up at the booth and purchase their gaming currency and save up to 12%.
But the main attraction of the booth was a meet-and-greet with the country influencer. Popular e-sports streamer and social media influencer Ashley Gosengfiao or Ashlili to her fans also made an appearance at the Wallet Codes booth. Ashley is a streamer known for her Mobile Legends following as well as her many vlogs and social media videos. Her presence at the Wallet Codes booth drew long lines which also allowed visitors to learn more about how easy it is to use Wallet Codes.
“Ashlili is a well-respected member of the gaming community and her presence here means a lot to us.” Chantal-Denise Ortega, Project Manager of Forest Interactive Gaming Habitat Team (FIGHT) said. “Since Wallet Codes is a relatively new player in the e-sports community here in the Philippines, her support means that more people can learn about Wallet Codes and how easy it is to use.”
FIGHT is the official events organizing arm of Forest Interactive that works closely with Moonton, the developers of the hit game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Through this partnership, Forest Interactive has been able to put up a number of small, one-day tournaments across Southeast Asia in countries like Myanmar, Indonesia, and Malaysia. FIGHT hopes to put up a similar event in Manila in early 2020.
ESGS is the biggest gaming expo in the country that showcases the best the country has to offer in the world of e-sports and gaming. Attendees to the event got to witness live capsule tournaments in various events like fighting games, tabletop games, and Mobile Legends. Event goers also got to meet their favorite pro gamers, streamers, casters, and e-sports personalities. Audiences also got to see the latest in gaming technology from state-of-the-art hardware to independent game developers.
