A Promising 2016

TIGA will be arranging the Awards Ceremony this year on Thursday, 10th November at Christ Church Spitalfields, London. The event will feature some of the most stunning and mind-blowing games with some of the leading names in the gaming industry.

Shortlisted Games

This year, several games made their way to the shortlisted finalists and are now seeking the Judges’ decision to be declared as the winners.

Best Role Playing Game

Conquering the heights of successFunky Panda’s game Monster Mountain has been shortlisted as the finalists and is nominated for the TIGA Award under Best Role Playing Game category.

Last years’ winners are not a part of the shortlisted games this time. However, TIGA has shortlisted two games by Warner Bros, so it seems as if Warner Bros will rock the arena this year. The Batman Arkham Knight has been rated 9.2/10 at IGN and Hue is rated 8.6. Arkham Knight’s excellent rating can make it lead the competitors.

Micro Machines has been rated 7.0 at IGN; Rebellion’s Raceline has been awarded 4 out of 5 stars at touch arcade and users have awarded Ubisoft’s Grow Up only 6.4 points at Metacritic. Sony had been rocking in the past years, but there are chances that Rebellion will take the award this year.

Racing Games

DiRT Rally has been rated 8.9 at IGN, while Racing Revolved has been awarded 9/10 stars at Steam. Rebellion’s Raceline CC has also been shortlisted in Racing Category and probably it will make its mark. Mantis Burn Racing has got 8.9/10 user review at Metacritic. DiRT Rally and Mantis Burn will give us a real show.

Strategy Game

Prison Architect has got 8.0 user review and 80 meta rating at Metacritic. Imperial hero has got 4.1 stars at Google PlayStore. Total War: WARHAMMER has been rated 7.3 by users, but it has got 86 meta rating. Rebellion’s BattleZone 98 Redux has got 8.6 user score at Metacritic, and it seems as if Rebellion will rock the party here too.

Original Game

At Metacritic, users have rated 8.2; while, Miniclip’s has got 4.5/5 stars at touch arcade. Lego Dimensions has got 7.7 stars at IGN. Miniclip’s games have been taking the world like a storm, but there will be a healthy competition among Agar.Io and Hue. Probably, will win the TIGA Trophy.

Best Publisher

Apparently, Team17 or Sony will win the best publisher’s award as these two publishers have been the winners of the past years. Metacritic has awarded Sony 68 Average 30 career score.

Outstanding Individual

This year, the special award will be the outstanding individual award that will be decided by TIGA.

Game of the Year

TIGA has shortlisted almost 350+ games this year for the award of Game of the Year, and the public vote will decide the winner.

So get ready for the TIGA Awards Ceremony that will be held on November 10th. Which games, do you think, will win the trophy and rock the arena this year? Comment about your suggestions and recommendations.
